Suspect Identified In Ocean Boulevard Stabbing Incident

There was reportedly a verbal altercation involving a female and 68-year-old Jeffrey Keitt.

The suspect that was arrested in connection to a stabbing in Myrtle Beach has been identified.

Around 8:30am on Monday, police responded to an incident that occurred near a hotel along S. Ocean Boulevard.

There was reportedly a verbal altercation involving a female and 68-year-old Jeffrey Keitt. The altercation prompted Keitt to pull out a knife and stab the woman in the leg.

One victim was transported to a hospital. There was also a second victim involved that was evaluated at the scene.

Keitt was arrested and charged with two counts of assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

An investigation remains underway and anyone with information should contact the Myrtle Beach Police Department.
