Judge Orders Florence County Motel To Shutdown
The Florence County Sheriff's Office reported that officers repeatedly responded to crimes at the motel.
A Florence motel has been ordered to shut its doors permanently.
A Florence County Circuit Judge issued an injunction against owners of the Baymont Inn & Suites that’s situated along West Lucas Street.
The injunction effectively closed the business after a hearing in which the judge found the business constituted a public nuisance pursuant to South Carolina law.
The Florence County Sheriff’s Office reported that officers repeatedly responded to crimes at the motel.
No trespassing signs and a fence will soon be placed around the motel.
