McLeod Health Hosts Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony For Outpatient Pharmacy

The new outpatient pharmacy facility aims to make it more convenient for patients to get their medications

McLeod Health held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Monday for a new location.

The new outpatient pharmacy facility has moved from its previous 2,200-square-foot location inside the hospital to a 12,000-square-foot building.

It aims to make it more convenient for patients to get their medications and features a drive-thru pharmacy, curbside pickup, as well as a wider selection of over-the-counter medications.

The new site is located in the hospital’s former emergency department space on Ravenel Street in Florence.

The pharmacy is staffed by part of McLeod Health’s team of more than 300 pharmacists and technicians across its system. It is set to open to patients on Sunday at 1pm.
