Severe weather across several states Wednesday left at least one person dead and several others injured.

A series of powerful storms made its way across the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic regions.

One storm came with winds of 90-95 mph and sent a tree crashing into a home in Michigan. The incident resulted in the death of a 2-year-old and hospitalized the boy’s mother and her 2-month-old infant.

Storms and possible tornadoes left at least five people injured in Maryland who were trapped in a home.

The severe weather left many structures damaged and filled streets with debris as well.
