Free WonderWorks Admission Tickets Up for Grabs in Honor of National Library Week
WonderWorks Myrtle Beach has teamed up with the Horry County Memorial Library System to celebrate National Library Week.
Kaitlin Barnes of WonderWorks Myrtle Beach was in the studio to talk abut a deal they’re offering in honor of National Library Week, which falls in April. To show their support for reading and libraries, WonderWorks Myrtle Beach has teamed up with the Horry County Memorial Library System to celebrate National Library Week. National Library Week runs from April 7-13, 2024, but WonderWorks is celebrating all month long! Those who visit one of the ten Horry County Memorial Library branches and register for a first-time library card anytime in April 2024 will receive one free All Access ticket to WonderWorks while supplies last.
“The WonderWorks team is full of readers, so we’re thrilled to partner with our local libraries to promote the magic of reading. The more you read, the more you learn!” says Kaitlin Barnes, education sales manager at WonderWorks Myrtle Beach.
After signing up for a card, the library will provide new cardholders with one free admission ticket to use at WonderWorks. To redeem the ticket, guests can show their ticket voucher along with their new library card at the ticket counter upon arrival. All Access tickets provide use of all the hands-on exhibits and activities throughout the facility.
In addition to this ticket deal, WonderWorks Myrtle Beach will also collect new or gently used books throughout the month to donate to the Horry County Memorial Libraries. Guests visiting WonderWorks can bring the books with them, and others in the community who would like to donate can drop them off in the lobby, even if they do not plan to enter the exhibits.
Expanding upon their love for reading, WonderWorks Myrtle Beach honors one of the most popular children’s authors of all time, Dr. Seuss with a one-of-a-kind exhibit. Guests can admire the Dr. Seuss art exhibit and see imaginative taxidermy sculptures of many of the fictional characters found in his books. The sculptures provide an exciting look at the beloved characters and showcase the power of imagination that comes from reading.
