Myrtle Beach International Airport will receive $10 million in aid from the FAA.

The agency included the proposal in a list of funding priorities through its airport terminal program.

M.Y.R officials announced the money will be used to complete the concourse 1 expansion project, which is a two-level, six gate expansion to meet existing and future demand.

Once complete, it would bring the number of gates to 18.
