Two Tuition-Free Charter Schools Opening In Myrtle Beach

A ribbon-cutting ceremony is set to be held to celebrate two new tuition-free charter schools in Myrtle Beach.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony is set to be held to celebrate two new tuition-free charter schools in Myrtle Beach. Morning Star Academy and South Carolina Construction Academy have a shared campus.

The Morning Star Academy operates services from kindergarten through 8th grade, offering STEAM-infused learning in a play-based environment.

The South Carolina Construction Academy is a high school for grades nine through 12. Not only will attendees get a regular high school diploma, students can also opt to follow a trade path in areas such as electrical, plumbing, or carpentry.

The campus is located on Mr. Joe White Avenue where the Golf Academy of America School was previously located. The ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held Tuesday at 3:45pm.
