DNA Match Links Idaho Murder Suspect To Crime Scene
Bryan Kohberger is set to go on trial on October 2nd and faces life in prison or the death penalty if found guilty.
New details have emerged surrounding the deaths of four Idaho University students last year.
A lengthy investigation led to the arrest of Bryan Kohberger. The 28-year-old suspect faces charges for the murders of the four students, all of which were fatally stabbed in an off campus home on November 13th.
During a search of the crime scene, authorities found a knife sheath that was taken into evidence for testing of possible DNA left behind by the killer.
DNA from the cheek swab of Kohberhger has been found to be a ‘statistical match’. The new filing states that the matching profile makes it more likely that the suspect is connected to the crime weapon.
Kohberger is set to go on trial on October 2nd and faces life in prison or the death penalty if found guilty.
