The holiday season brings an increase in deliveries to homes across the country and Amazon is making it easy to show appreciation for your delivery drivers. The company announced a new initiative for the holiday season that allows customers to tip their delivery drivers $5 at no cost to them. All you have to do is use an an Alexa-enabled device, speaking “Alexa, thank my driver”. The driver who delivered your most recent package will then be notified of your appreciation and will receive a $5 tip. Amazon says the new feature will be used for a company-wide competition. The five drivers who receive the most thank-you tips will be rewarded with $10,000, as well as an additional ten-thousand dollars to their charity of choice.
