CCU’s McCall Makes Sun Belt Conference History

Coastal Carolina football’s Grayson McCall has made history, as he is the first football student-athlete to win the conference Player of the Year award three times in the Sun Belt Conference. The league’s head coaches and media members named McCall as player of the year for the third consecutive year. Chaunticleer’s wide receiver Jared Brown was also honored and named the Sun Belt Conference Freshman of the Year. Plus, nine other CCU players picked up All-Sun Belt honors, while four garnered honorable mention accolades.
