If you’re not familiar with the HC Literacy Council, they are a non-profit that provides One-on-One Tutoring for learning to read. They provide literacy services for kids and adults. Some services offered are basic literacy/life skills, ESL, GED Prep, learning difficulties like dyslexia, Read and Create. They aim to improve the lives of youth, adults and families by teaching basic literacy and life skills for economic and social success. When you help someone to read, you enable that individual to take advantage of a new world of opportunities. Donations from this contest will help them accomplish these goals.
