Major Retailers are Lending a Hand to Hurricane Ian Relief Efforts

Target makes largest disaster donation in company history.

Retail giants Target and Walmart are making major donations to Hurricane Ian relief and recovery efforts. Target announced plans to donate five-million dollars. The donation will be focused on the immediate needs of residents like providing food, water and other essentials. The retailer said this is the largest disaster donation in company history. Meanwhile Walmart will donate up to six-million-dollars for recovery and relief efforts as well. That will include both cash grants and donations of essential supplies. The store will also launch campaigns to encourage customers and employees to donate to relief efforts.
