Pringles Wants to Change the Name of a Spider Species…Because it Looks Like Their Logo

The Kidney Garden spider apparently has a striking resemblance to the Pringles logo.

Pringles is working on something new too but it has nothing to do with new flavors…and everything to do with an arachnid. The chip company is trying to rename a spider. The Kidney Garden spider apparently has a striking resemblance to the Pringles logo. It’s markings are similar to the eyes and mustache of the man on the chip can. Because of the resemblance, they’ve launched a petition attempting to get the spider renamed to the Pringles spider.
