Three Dead and One Injured in Maryland Shooting

Three people were killed after a shooting inside a Maryland business yesterday. The shooting happened at a facility owned by Columbia Machine about 75 miles west of Baltimore in Smithsburg. The 23 year old suspect, who has yet to be named, is a current employee at the plant who killed three coworkers and wounded a fourth. While attempting to flee, he also shot a state trooper in the shoulder, who was responding to the scene. The trooper returned fire and hit the suspect as well. Investigators have not yet established a motive for the incident.
