Shellings Continue Overnight at Azovstal Steel Plant in Mariupol

Shelling continues at the Azovstal Steel Plant in Mariupol. According to officials, the attacks continued overnight last night and the residential areas close to the plant ‘had to evacuate urgently on their own without warning.’ According to fighters inside the plant yesterday, Russian forces had also breached the perimeter and despite efforts to evacuate, hundreds of civilians were trapped in the complex including about 30 children. According to Yuriy Ryzhenkov CEO of Metinvest holding, the company who owns the plant, at least 150 employees have been killed and thousands are unaccounted for.
