Tidelands Health Celebrates Zero Covid-19 Patients
Tidelands Health celebrated a pandemic milestone yesterday as the number of Covid-19 hospitalizations dropped drastically in recent weeks. As of yesterday morning, there were no Covid-19 patients hospitalized with the virus for the first time in two years. Tidelands reported it’s first case on March 16, 2020, that patient was treated at the emergency room at Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital and was able to recover at home. According to DHEC as of March 13th, there were 6,933 acute beds being used in the state, 249 Covid-19 positive patients hospitalized and 54 Covid-19 patients in intensive-care units.
