Distribution of $122 Billion in Relief Funds for Schools Completed

The Biden Administration made an announcement yesterday regarding the U.S. Department of Education. Last March, the administration announced the $122 billion allocation for schools from the American Rescue Plan Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund with two thirds of those which totals $81 billion made available to states immediately. The remaining funds were contingent on the approval of a state plan detailing how the funds would be used.
