Florence Redwolves Settle on New Mascot

The Redwolves have a new name.

The Florence Redwolves have a new name. The baseball organization changed their name to the Florence Flamingos. The name change involved a campaign where fans could submit suggestions. It was narrowed down to five then to the one! The city is building a new sports complex, the Carolina Bank Field, which will be the new home for the Flamingos in the spring.
