Five Horry County Men Charged in Connection With Interstate Drug Trafficking Organization
Six additional men have been charged in connection with an interstate drug trafficking organization that operated out of Myrtle Beach, Conway, Florence and New York City. 5 were from Horry County including 39 year old Arthur Busbee, 68 year old Brodus Gregg and 37 year old Dayvon Chadmar all of Conway, 43 year old Deondray Stanfield of Myrtle Beach and 39 year old Sam “Lou” Adams of Longs. This is the second round of indictments in operation “New Optix” which began with the related indictment of 26 alleged drug traffickers in December of 2020. During this weeks arrest, agents seized over $272,000 in suspected drug proceeds, five vehicles, 11 firearms, more than 4.5 kilograms of suspected cocaine, more than 450 grams of suspected crack cocaine, and additional amounts of suspected fentanyl, heroine, marijuana and other drugs.
