Governor McMaster Urges Residents To Prepare For ‘Elsa’
In preparation for the arrival of Elsa, Governor McMaster is urging residents to finalize their storm preparations. The coast is predicted to experience tropical storm conditions such as gusty winds, rain, potential flash flooding, isolated tornadoes and an estimated storm surge of 1-2 feet beginning late today into tomorrow. The South Carolina Emergency Management division recommends bringing lawn furniture and other loose objects inside, checking emergency supplies, keeping cell phones fully charged and having multiple ways to receive emergency warnings.
