Myrtle Beach Tourism Industry Receives Temporary Relief
The Myrtle Beach City Council has passed a temporary order to help financially relieve the business and tourism industry. The city plans to waive certain penalty fees and late bill payments. They will also move the deadline requiring business license payments until June 30th. Mayor Brenda Bethune also confirmed they would “re-beautify” the city once it was safe to resume such projects. She said new landscaping and welcome banners might seem “simple” but they will help attract visitors and tourists back into the city.
