All Non-Essential South Carolina Businesses Close Their Doors
DHEC confirmed the coronavirus death toll in South Carolina has risen to 26 with almost 1,300 confirmed cases across 43 counties. Following their 24-hour notice from the governor, all non-essential businesses have officially closed their doors for at least the next 15 days. Despite worries from local business owners over how they will make rent or how to deal with employees, they have adhered to the order. While they have also expressed concern over the possibility of the order being extended, they have agreed they will stay closed for as long as they have to.
