Coronavirus Cases Continue to Rise in South Carolina
44 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in South Carolina bringing the state’s total to 342 cases across 36 counties. Two new deaths have also now brought the state’s total casualties up to seven. One of the patient’s who passed was an elderly man from Horry County who “had no underlying health conditions”. It was the county’s first confirmed death. Governor McMaster isn’t taking this loss of life lightly. He announced yesterday all K-12 school’s will now remain closed through the month of April. The next few weeks are predicted to produce even deadlier results. The governor also said more needs to be done in order to contain the spread.
