Car Crash Causes Hundreds in Horry County to Temporarily Lose Power
A car crash caused hundreds to lose power in Conway last night. The crash occurred in the area of Four Mile Road and Silver Peak Drive around 5:30 P.M. The unidentified driver was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries after he crashed into a utility pole. The cause of the crash is still under investigation but it caused 769 customers between Highway 22 and Highway 501 to lose power. Horry County electric crews worked for several hours before power was fully restored by 9 P.M.
