Foot Locker employee’s act of kindness goes viral

LEESBURG, FL (FOX) – One boy in Florida received a Christmas gift a few days early..from a complete stranger. When a store employee at Foot Locker overheard that a boy couldn’t afford a pair of shoes that he wanted, she stepped in.

Jaydin Vasquez says she overheard 10-year old Jonas Nielson’s mom telling him they could never afford the Air Jordan Nikes he was eyeing, which struck a cord with the young employee.

When Jaydin was younger, she was in foster care, saying she could never afford a fancy new pair of shoes. Now Jonas says he uses Kleenex wipes to clean his new sneakers. the story has been shared on social media tens of thousands of times.
