NMB Woman’s Club Holding 6th Annual “What a Difference a Mile Makes” Domestic Violence Walk
Saturday October 17th at the North Myrtle Beach Sports Complex.
On Saturday October 17th the GFWC North Myrtle Beach Woman’s Club will hold their 6th
Annual “What a Difference a Mile Makes” Walk event for Domestic Violence victims and to
create awareness in our community.
This event will be held at the North Myrtle Beach Sports Complex Amphitheatre 150 Citizens
Circle Little River 29566.
Free Registration will begin at 9:00am along with an opening ceremony. The Walk starts at
10:00am.
There will be an opening ceremony, 50/50 raffle an exciting basket raffle, food trucks activities
for the entire family, children and dogs welcome!
The North Myrtle Beach Woman’s Club started “What a Difference a Mile Makes” in October of 2021 with hopes to abolish Domestic Violence. They partner with the City of North Myrtle Beach and the Police Department to reach out to victims with financial support to keep them safe.
Every year the Walk event raises enough funds to donate to the hands on charities for victims. The Family Justice Center, The Children’s Recovery Center and The Rape Crisis Center.
