A home in Nichols was destroyed by a late night fire. Horry County Fire Rescue crews responded to the 8000 block of Highway 917 just before 10:30pm Wednesday night. The incident was put under control but the residence suffered severe damages. No one was injured but the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
