Authorities Say “Future DNA Advancements” Could Help Solve JonBenet Ramsey Case
This year marks 25 years since Ramsey's death.
Its been 25 years since the death of JonBenet Ramsey and police say DNA hasn’t been ruled out to help solve the case. On December 26th of 1996, the 6-year-old was found dead in the basement of her family’s home in Boulder, Colorado. Authorities in Boulder have been working closely with investigators on “future DNA advancements,” with hopes of finally getting some answers. Investigators have analyzed nearly 1,000 samples during the course of the Ramsey investigation and detectives have traveled to 19 states to interview or speak with more than 1,000 people in connection with the case.
