For the first time in its history, Apple says it will allow customers to repair their own products. Their new program comes as apple and other tech companies face increasing pressure from regulators and consumers around the world to ease repair restrictions. It’s been dubbed the “right to repair” movement. Apple announced  that they’ll sell parts to consumers and it will post online manuals to help fix a problem. The “self service repair” is expected to launch early next year. Initially it will only be available for iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 users in the U.S.
