Second Person Wanted in Connection to Sexual Assault Near CCU Arrested

The second person wanted in connection to a sexual assault investigation near the Coastal Carolina University campus has been arrested. According to a spokesperson for the City of Conway, 16 year old Mije Basnight was arrested on Thursday and charged with assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature, first-degree criminal sexual conduct, carjacking with injury, attempted murder, kidnapping and armed robbery. He is being held at the Department of Juvenile Justice. 17 year old Ja’Real Warren has also been arrested in connection with the incident he is behind bars at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center.
