One Injured After Car Crashes Into Pond in Horry County

One person was taken to the hospital after a car crashed into a pond near Myrtle Beach. According to Horry County Fire Rescue, the crash happened around 3:30 pm in the 5000 block of Highway 17 Bypass. The driver had to be extracted from the vehicle. Utilities in the area also received minor damage. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
