Communication Errors Among Emergency Personnel During Deadly Astroworld Festival

New information surrounding the deadly Astroworld festival has been revealed… According to the Houston Fire Chief, firefighters stationed outside of the concert venue were not in radio communication with the emergency medical providers hired by concert organizers as the deadly situation unfolded. According to the President of the city’s firefighter union, the Houston Fire Department was on standby and had asked organizers for a radio to communicate with ‘ParaDocs’, the emergency medical providers on the scene but were only given cell phone numbers. A total of 528 Houston Police Officers were inside the venue and 755 private security personnel and members of the ParaDocs medical team were on hand during the event as well.

As of yesterday, three people remain in the hospital including a 9 year old boy who’s in a medically induced coma and two other survivors who are in critical condition. Investigators in Houston are working to determine all possible causes of death and injury to concert-goers, which includes whether a batch of counterfeit pills possibly laced with Fentanyl played a role. The FBI is also offering it’s assistance and resources to local officials.
