Little River Man Found Guilty for Role in Capitol Riots
A man from Little River has pled guilty to his actions during the Capitol Riots. According to a release from the United States Attorney’s Office, 26 year old Nicholas Languerand was among rioters standing near the archway leading from the lower west terrace to the interior of the US Capitol and was found guilty of assaulting law enforcement with a dangerous weapon during the insurrection. Languerand was arrested on April 15th and will be sentenced on January 20th of next year, he faces up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
