Brian Laundrie’s Autopsy Found Inconclusive

Yesterday, an autopsy for Brian Laundrie’s remains came back inconclusive according to their family attorney. His remains were found last Wednesday in the Florida nature reserve that authorities had been searching since his disappearance in mid September after leaving his home on September 13th. Attorney Steven Bertolino said “Brian Laundrie’s autopsy has not provided a manner or cause of death and his remains are now being transferred to an anthropologist.’ Bertolino said the family plans to cremate the remains and will not have a funeral service.

Laundrie’s fiancé Gabby Petito was reported missing by her family on September 11th after they hadn’t heard from her since September 1st. Her remains were found in Wyoming on September 19th and a coroner ruled her death a strangulation. Authorities have not explicitly connected Laundrie to Petito’s death but they say he was among the last people to see her alive.
