Police Investigating Shooting in Lake City

Police are investigating after they say a man was shot twice in Lake City last night. According to Lake City Police Chief Joseph Cooper, the shooting happened in the 300 block of Wallace Street. The male victim was shot twice in the upper body and was taken to McLeod Hospital for treatment but was talking and responsive. There is no known suspect information at this time.
