Authorities Investigating After Shooting in Florence County

Authorities are investigating a shooting in Florence County. According to Major Mike Nunn with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred last night just after 7:45 pm when investigators responded to the area of South 5th Street for calls of shots fired. They found a man with multiple gun shot wounds who was later transferred to the hospital with his non life threatening injuries. Anyone with information is asked to call the Florence County Sheriff’s Office.
