Diabetic Neuropathy Patients Wanted for Trial Study

Kristin Hieshetter is a doctor with Integrative Health Solutions in Florence. She is a chiropractor, metabolic biochemist and a low level laser specialist. She talks with Audra about a study being done on diabetic neuropathy that opens an opportunity for those that suffer with it to get some help. Erchonia is researching diabetic peripheral neuropathy and are looking for 9-11 patients for a study. Participants will be issued a hand held laser to use in home for three months to use on foot pain that has been diagnosed as part of diabetic peripheral neuropathy. It is free for the patients.
The requirements for the Diabetes Peripheral Neuropathy Study are:
- Patient must have a diagnosis of peripheral neuropathy and diabetes
- The problem must be ongoing for a minimum of 3 months
- The patient’s pain perception must be 50 or higher on a scale of 1-100, with 100 being the worst pain imaginable.
