Woman Charged With Stabbing Denied Bond

An update on Tuesday’s stabbing at a Dunkin Donuts in Myrtle Beach. 42 year old Nikema Cheatham who was charged in connection to the stabbing appeared in court yesterday for her bond hearing and was denied bond. Cheatham was charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. During her hearing she became tearful and said she was defending herself when the judge asked her if she understood her attempted murder charge. Officials say Cheatham stabbed the victim in the neck more than 15 times, that victim was taken to the hospital and her condition is unknown. Police said Cheatham showed malice but didn’t say if she and the victim knew each other or what led to the violence.
