20th Annual WIP Cultural Arts Festival & Pauwau

Each year in November, at our tribal land in Aynor, SC, the Waccamaw Indian People gather to celebrate our heritage, and to provide an opportunity to the public to have a fun day while they gain an insight into our historical culture. We have native Drum and dance, demonstrations, story telling, arts & crafts vendors, and food vendors. Primitive camping is allowed, and a limited number of RV sites are available on a first come first serve basis. Hours: 11/3/2012 Gate Opens @ 11:00 AM until, Grand Entries at 1:00 PM & 6:00 PM 11/4/2012 Gate Opens @ 11:00 AM until; Grand Entry at 2:00 PM Gate fees are $3 for Seniors 60 and over; $3 for children 7 to 14. $6 for adults; and veterans with a veterans feather free. Accessible to persons with disabilities.
