Hemingway Man Drowns in Pee Dee River

The Horry County Deputy Coroner identified 26-year-old De'Quan Casey as the man who drowned in Pee Dee River Saturday.

A Hemingway man drowned in the Pee Dee River Saturday.  The Horry County Deputy Coroner identified the victim as 26-year-old De’Quan Casey.  It has been ruled as accidental.  According to reports, the Department of Natural Resources was contacted around noon Saturday that a man was swimming in deep waters when he went under and did not return to the surface.
