We’ve got hacks to clean up spills, keep out ants, preserve lemons and change the way you craft in this week’s Thursday Tips.
- Make your lemons last longer by simply storing them in a Ziploc bag inside the refrigerator. They will last four times as long. ?Be sure to seal them and not just throw them in there in produce bags.
- Use salt on your spills. Immediately cover it with salt to absorb the liquid before it sets and you vacuum it up once it absorbs. This contains the liquid from spreading and decreases the chances of major stain damage.
- Use cinnamon to keep out the ants. The smell repels them. Sprinkle some where you think they’re getting in. Cinnamon essential oil also works.
