Horry County Coroner’s Office Identifies One Year Old Who Drowned In Pond

According to the Horry County Coroner’s Office, a one year old girl identified as Gianna Dawkins was found dead in a pond near her family on Cheyenne Road in Conway on Saturday. Her family was visiting the area from Fayetteville North Carolina. She was pronounced dead from asphyxiation due to drowning at the scene. The Horry County Police Department is investigating the case.
