Pedestrian Sustains Critical Injuries In Conway Crash

A pedestrian sustained critical injuries following a crash in Conway.

Around 9:30pm Wednesday, Horry County Fire Rescue crews responded to the area of Highway 544 and Singleton Ridge Road. The pedestrian was taken to a hospital to be treated.

Lanes of 544 were blocked off to traffic as crews worked the scene. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.

Coastal Carolina University Public Safety, the Conway Police Department, and the Horry County Police Department are assisting. Further details were not available.
