Ever wake up from a night of crab legs and butter, or over doing it on the chips and salsa and you can’t get your ring off? Next time grab the Windex! It has compounds called “Surfectants” that lower surface tension. Spray it around your ring, elevate your hand overhead and viola…slides right off. If that doesn’t help, add ice and repeat.
Those potato chips that cause swollen fingers could be used for something else next time. Like your next camping trip. They make great kindling! Start a fire with your Pringles, Ruffles, and even your Doritos. They’re flammable because of all the fat and oil and they burn slowly. Just place a few in your fireplace, wood-burning stove and place logs on top once they’ve ignited.
Get rid of ink marks and most anything with nail polish remover. Grease, oil, resin, ink, permanent marker, adhesive, and paint. Acetone is a powerful colorless solvent that is used in the manufacturing industry to clean plastic, metal, and composite products. So, whether your child is marked up with a sharpie or to remove the sticky price tags on your new products, dab on a cotton swab and swipe.
