Victim Of Shooting At Captain Archie’s Identified By Coroner

The victim of a shooting that happened on Friday in North Myrtle Beach has been identified. Horry County Deputy Coroner Patty Bellamy said 32 year old Durance McCray from Longs died from injuries sustained in the incident that occurred in the parking lot of Captain Archie’s on Little River Neck Road. According to North Myrtle Beach Public Information Officer Patrick Dowling, when officers responded to the scene they found multiple shell casings near a trash dumpster in the parking lot and were told that a person with a gunshot wound had already arrived at the hospital. An officer later found a black BMW with a large amount of blood inside of it in the hospital parking lot. A witness said they saw someone fire multiple shots into the car.
