Representative Liz Cheney isn’t backing down as house republicans attempt to remove her from their team. Cheney, the third-ranking house republican from Wyoming voted to impeach former President Trump for inciting the January 6th capitol riots, and has said his lies of a stolen election are a “threat to democracy.” Because of her views, some members want to replace her with representative Elise Stefanick, a republican from New York who actively defended Trump during his impeachment trial.
