Snap What You’re Thankful For
Take a picture of something you're thankful for to practice gratitude.
A Thursday tip to help you practice gratitude. One thing most mental health experts agree on is having a sense of gratitude is a key ingredient to living a joyful life. You’ve probably heard of the gratitude journals. Those are helpful in keeping what you’re thankful for in focus. But for some keeping a journal sounds too much like homework. Editor and Author of “Your Fully Charged Life,” Meagan Murphy suggests you can practice gratitude by snapping a picture of something you are grateful for. If the thought of keeping a journal is too overwhelming don’t ditch the practice. Make it fit for you. Still take the time to ponder each day something you are thankful for. Find something that represents that to you and capture it with your iPhone. That image is stored not only in your iCloud but the image also will store in your mind. You can even create a folder on your phones to keep all those images to look back over at then end of the month to remind yourself of all the beauty you’ve discovered.
