Body Of Missing Florence County Woman Found In Burned Home After Fire

The body of a missing person was found in a burned home in Florence County. According to Sheriff T.J. Joye, the home is located on Chartersville Highway near Timmonsville. Joye said the fire happened after midnight yesterday and added that the missing person’s report was filed after the fire. Crews went back to the home and found the woman’s body inside. The cause of the fire is being investigated and Florence County Coroner Keith von Lutcken is expected to release her identity at a later time.
