Suspect Wanted in Connection to Deadly Florence Shooting

One suspect is still wanted in connection to a fatal shooting from yesterday morning. A drug transaction turned into a deadly armed robbery around 8:15 a.m. in the 700 block of Roosevelt Street. The gunshot victim was found alive but in critical condition. Unfortunately, they later died at a hospital. 66-year-old Freddie Junior Wells was arrested last night and now faces charges of murder, armed robbery and criminal conspiracy. Police are still searching for his brother, Johnny Wells, who is considered to be armed and dangerous.
