Darlington High School Went on Brief Lockdown After Shots Fired Nearby
Shots fired near Darlington High School led to a brief lockdown yesterday. Darlington Police Chief Kelvin Washington confirmed shots were fired in the area, but they were not fired in the school or on school grounds. It was only out of an abundance of caution that the facility was placed on lockdown before being given the all clear a short while later. Everyone was accounted for and safe. Darlington Police continue to investigate the shots fired call.
